Am I Conservative or Liberal? What Say You SA...

I actually ran a conservative campaign. I spent a $1 a vote.
...
I believe in tightening our belt around the city's budget. I believe in the school of thought. I believe that government should be prudent with spending. I believe in going green. I believe in equal rights for everyone. I believe in the death penalty and the right to bear arms. I even believe that it is a woman's right to choose in circumstances of rape and incest. I believe that the people of this country should have a voice. I believe a lot of things. Now people are asking me, "Are you conservative democrat or conservative republican?" Fair Question but that will not be answered in this article. What I am interested in is the definition of the one word. I want your thoughts on just that one word: Conservative. What does that mean? Someone recently de-friended me on Facebook because they called me Liberal and not Conservative. I am totally fine with that because everyone has the right to voice their opinions. I respect people who can stand up for what they believe in. But what truly does conservative mean? There are so many definitions and you can even be classified as having liberal conservative views or believe in conservative liberalism which is the opposite of the first. So since I said I am conservative, was this just too general for this person? What say you San Antonio?
