The future of San Antonio is headed towards the right direction of transportation. We are the 7th largest city. We should start developing mass transit options. The time is now.

Julian Castro thinks that we should start looking into the progress of San Antonio and that should be a great sign for the future of San Antonio. San Antonio owns right-of-ways for light rail in San Antonio and it will be a great idea to start factoring costs to benefits of this idea. Imagine the day when you don’t need a car to get around. The cost in savings to not need to own a vehicle is huge. You would save 1/3 of your money for not having to own a car. It may be difficult at the beginning but in time it will be a way of life. New York City is a perfect example of mass transportation that works. The richest city in the world and they don’t mind. We should invite the idea with open minds.
