Frank Ramirez for City Council District 5 on May 11, 2013!
February 18, 2013
Hey yo,

As many of you may or may not know, I am running for District 5 in San Antonio Texas which represents the neighborhoods that encompass Acme Rd. from the West side to S. Presa in the South East. Quite frankly the most difficult district in terms of crime, drugs, prostitution, aggravated assault and so on and so on. This is one that has seen little change in the past 20 years. While new areas of San Antonio have enjoy a routinely based beautification process and revitalization from more of the tourist centered areas, the city has continuously decided to focus our monies and efforts to appease foreign peoples, and domestic tourists. Although this is a significant portion of our revenue, it doesn’t sit well with me, as we have become a city and county full of indentured servants to embrace our dedication to a lifetime of service.

Our time has come for our people, regardless of color to be unified in our quest to find adequate representation that will work on behalf of the working individual and not to exploit them. From daily decisions on behalf of our council, many have worked to benefit the worldwide marketability of our city, and in this regard I applaud them. But on an individual case, many districts go underrepresented by district leaders who do little or nothing to represent you as an individual and in some cases a community. So a light is put in on a crosswalk, road re-paved or small stretches of clean up is done in a two year term, this in unacceptable to me as a working tax payer and a citizen. We can’t allow our neighborhoods to continue to decline just so corporate entities, foreign and domestic alike, can come in a purchase them cheaply to erect non-local businesses that attract scores and scores of locals just begging for work, at the open arms of our Current ideology of our city council.

There are many issues that are wrong with our society and many times you have read the various articles and debates that encompass what I think are serious issues that you should be informed with. Many times I have tried to encourage change of self through realization and actualization, and some have heard and some have disregarded; so is the struggle. But if the struggle the glory, then so be it. And if one chooses to move mountains but first move their feet, then let this be my first step towards a change that everyone wants but no one wants to undertake. So why not let it be me. I have experienced many an event, in my life and I have done many things that have allowed me to learn from mistake and success. As my life has not been one of innocence and purity, a life many politicians sell you, and you buy cheaply. My platform is about transparency, and my goal is ever moving forward.

I will not stand as a Democrat or as a Republican, or Tea Party or Green Party, well maybe a little green. My affiliation is geared around people like me, which are the working person, the parent, the student, the dreamer, the artist, and the believer. If we do not seize our day now, we will regret our inactivity tomorrow. My and my focus are geared towards ensuring that we can have safe viable neighborhoods that will be available for our children and grandchildren, as our national stability becomes more and more limited. If we don’t start at the local level now we won’t have the power to get into the State and Congressional seats when we need to be. I have no confidence in the bright-eyed, likable faces that are the façade of our current representation. Many of them are just pawns and whipping targets for the more lucrative and commercially rich districts holders. Some of these district leaders don’t give a damn about the problems with District 5 as long as it stays in district 5.

If you choose to elect the same hypocritical smiling faces, which hold the same ideology we do not progress as a district or as a city. We need to be proactive in matters that deserve a full fair assessment and equal engagement that puts San Antonians first and not conventioneers, or tourists. Many of you I have worked with, played music with, played ball with, hit the books and other ventures that have helped me become a more enlightened and culturally rich individual by your simple impressions. And in many cases I have spoken with you about matters that involve self reflection and re-direction, and in some cases gone toe to toe with you in debates that have at some times been heated. But that’s exactly what a representative should be, one that you can talk to and engage with, not just a smiling face that is disregarding you as you speak.

That’s not me, I have waited on, served on, talked up to and talked down to, picked up and walked down, many people from various aspects of Government, celebrity, infamy, and notoriety, people our society flock to like mindless lemmings. And many of these people are no smarter, or insightful than a bag of baked lays, yet they hold such a regard from an ignorant class that chooses to go with the flow of the status quo than to be the only one in the class to ask a legitimate question. Let me be that voice with this first step, district 5 is a small step into a bigger objective that I would like to undertake as part of my mission and promise I made to a grieving man and fellow traveler.

I hope that I may have the opportunity to utilize you in my campaign for district 5, if we can be successful here, I promise we can engage higher levels that can begin the influx of new representation that can depose and remove the ill-corrupted representatives that hold the cards today. I have no fears in my life and I am not afraid of my past in any shape or form, hey if Ted Kennedy could be elected to his role in government after killing someone and Obama can be our President after admitting to cocaine use, than I’m a choirboy. It is my wish to be part of our State’s government, albeit local or state, because I believe and know that our state has been proven to be both recession proof, and energy self-sustaining. We have millions of hectares of undeveloped land and resources that make us independent from foreign industry and make us a global power as a state alone from a mismanaged corporate owned nation.

So I ask, will you make the same choice that will retain your right to remain an indentured servant? Or will you make the first choice in a journey to come that can put a voice that isn’t hampered by political censorship or hidden agendas. Our city has some of the most highly educated servers and wait staff that will never utilize their skills and talents due the lack of opportunity our city council does not consider when attracting businesses into San Antonio, or addressing the level of curriculum our children receive in school. Let me be that voice, that lone question in a quiet classroom that will bring power back to the people of San Antonio and not just allow our people to slaves to the Global suits and northern khaki shorts, demand better and demand Ramirez for district 5!

I’m Frank Ramirez, and I am running for District 5 in the San Antonio city council election. Join me on May 11, 2013 as we try to reestablish our foothold on our city and its management.

Logic would tell you that if there is an issue with students performance it is not because they started school at five years of age instead of four years. Mayor Castro has the idea that Big Government has the answer to all problems. He needs to look at the core issues of our educational problems. His tax will be levied upon all citizens of San Antonio and surrounding areas at a time when gas prices, food prices and energy prices are all climbing. Mayor Castro you can throw money at a problem JUST NOT OURS!

Early voting begins 10-22-12 Monday. Keep this moving to your contacts in the San Antonio area.

Pre-K for SA Get informed, Get the facts!

http://www.wnd.com/2012/09/claim-obama-hid-gay-life-to-become-president/ It's a bit disturbing to see this President accused of living a double life. If so, we can't trust him. His dad was a Mulsim. His birth in US is in question. His reasons for staying in a church ran by a man who condemned America....it just doesn't end with this president. Now we find a big white pizza selling man bear hugging President, as if he's a celebrity, instead of a President of the most powerful country in USA. NOBODY would dare have hugged Bush, Clinton or anyone else like this. Obama is not presidential material. If he was nobody would disrespect him so much as to bear hug him as if he were a celebrity, instead of a man in charge of US military and other powerful agencies. Just disgraceful. There is a chronic, pervasive disrespect for this President, though the media continues to promote him as if he were something we should hang onto. He's not a President who seems in command, but rather a man who got into a position of power through Oprah, and other celebs. He is more concerned about going on trips with his family than taking care of people in USA.
